If you have never visited Chicago before, you may be wondering why so many people say that the Windy City is one of the best cities in the United States. I had actually pondered this question on my own before, so when my girlfriend hinted that she wanted to take a trip to Chicago for her birthday, I decided that it would be the perfect opportunity to find out what all the fuss is always about.

After experiencing the city of Chicago for myself for close to six days, I can honestly say I completely understand why Chicago is such a popular city. There is a great culture and energy throughout the city, and I can’t think of a single time during our trip when I felt like I was bored.

Although we did quite a bit during our trip to Chicago, there were several experiences that stood out to me. At the very top of my list was getting to see a Chicago Bulls game in person. Even though they don’t possess the same magic that they did when Michael Jordan was the star of their team, watching a game in person of a team with such a rich history was quite an enjoyable experience.
