For the first eighteen years of my life, I lived in the city of Chicago. While a lot of people consider New York City to be the best city in the United States, I have to disagree. The reason that I disagree with this statement is because I truly believe that Chicago is the best city in the United States. You may think that I am just biased because I grew up in Chicago, but considering the fact that I have been living in New York City for the past three years (because I am attending college there), I believe that my opinion on this topic is quite valid. I enjoy living in New York City and think it’s a great place, but in comparison to Chicago, I think Chicago has a leg up on New York City.

Since I definitely get homesick from time to time, I have decided to spend my Spring Break in Chicago. You may think that spending Spring Break in your home city sounds boring, but I always have a great time when I go back to Chicago, and I don’t think that Spring Break will be any different.
