Although vacations can be a very relaxing experience, trips can actually be quite stressful. This is especially true when they are a business trip. If you are in Chicago on a business trip and find yourself in the mood to blow off some steam after a long day of meetings, you are in luck, because Chicago has some great bars for people just like yourself to enjoy. Since you are in Chicago on a trip and probably aren’t that familiar with the area, here are some suggestions for bars that won’t disappoint you:
Rosa’s Lounge: This is a really great blues bar. While there are a countless number of bars and clubs in Chicago that can have a very pretentious atmosphere, this is not one of them. Rosa’s Lounge is reasonably priced, so you won’t have to worry about running out of cash after ordering just a couple of drinks. And since live music always make a bar more enjoyable, it’s quite fun to spend a couple of hours at Rosa’s.
Bernice’s Tavern: You can’t go wrong with Bernice’s. They got low prices on beer that tastes great, a dart board and at certain times, you can even pick songs from the jukebox for free. This is also a place where you can go have a few drinks during the day and not feel like you are out of place.
Hungry Brain: When people talk about the Hungry Brain, one of the words they almost always use to describe it is cozy. The atmosphere here is more like a coffee shop than a bar, so you can enjoy some drinks without worrying about some random drunk trying to get in a fight with you.
